Description:

HID flashlight (high intensity discharge) emits light by striking electrical arc across tungsten electrodes. There is a specially designed inner glass tube equipped inside the tungsten electrode and the tube is filled with both gas and metals. Gas helps lamp to start. Then metals produce light once they are heated to a point of evaporation. Like fluorescent lamps, HID LED flashlight requires a ballast to start and maintain its operation. HID LED flashlight is 3times brighter than common lamp, and with less power consumption. HID light has been widely used as head lamp of motor vehicle.
